Ruta Kayak Acantilados Maro Cerro Gordo

Desde nuestras instalaciones en La Herradura, saldremos bordeando la costa moviendonos hacia el oeste en dirección al parque Natural.

Esta ruta nos permitirá ver los acantilados, las rocas y posiblemente incluso alguna cabra montés.

Llegaremos a una pequeña playa llamada “Calaisa”, donde dedicaremos tiempo a admirar su formación peculiar y la vida marina. 

Continuaremos siguiendo la costa y pasando por un viejo molino desde donde se pueden admirar los acantilados de Cerro Gordo hasta llegar a una cueva que se usaba para el contrabando.

Después seguiremos por la costa hasta llegar a la Cueva de la Virgen. Esta cueva tiene un acceso abierto ancho. Si se mira bien se puede ver la estatua de la virgen también el coral naranja y los tomates de mar que adornan la base de las paredes de la roca.

Posibilidad de baño y tiempo para snorkel

 

ITINERARIO ACTIVIDAD: Playa La Herradura - Playa Caleisa - Acantilados Cerro Gordo - Cueva de la Virgen. Paradas para baño y regreso.

Duración ACTIVIDAD: 2,00 horas, según grupo  y condiciones del mar.

 

Dificultad: Media y Baja. Se sale siempre con el mar en buenas condiciones.

 

Requisitos: Saber nadar. Tener autonomía para palear.

 

Observaciones: El recorrido se plantea de Ida y Vuelta. Disponemos de una embarcación de apoyo ante cualquier problema para volver

 

Punto de encuentro: Box Marae - Paseo Andres Segovia, 44 - La Herradura - Granada

 

Punto de salida: Canal náutico enfrente de las instalaciones.

 

La Edad mínima RECOMENDADA de un/a niño/a acompañado de sus padres  es  5 años, comparte el mismo kayak.

 Kayak Route Maro Cliffs Cerro Gordo

From our facilities in La Herradura, we will depart along the coast moving west towards the Natural Park.

This route will allow us to see the cliffs, rocks and possibly even some mountain goats.

We will arrive at a small beach called "Calaisa", where we will spend time to admire its peculiar formation and marine life. 

We will continue following the coast and passing by an old mill from where we can admire the cliffs of Cerro Gordo until we reach a cave that was used for smuggling.

Then we will continue along the coast until we reach the Cueva de la Virgen. This cave has a wide open access. If you look closely you can see the statue of the virgin also the orange coral and sea tomatoes that adorn the base of the rock walls.

Possibility of swimming and time for snorkeling.

 

ITINERARY ACTIVITY: La Herradura Beach - Caleisa Beach - Cerro Gordo Cliffs - Cave of the Virgin. Stops for swimming and return.

Duration of ACTIVITY: 2.00 hours, depending on group and sea conditions.

 

Difficulty: Medium and Low. Departure always with good sea conditions.

 

Requirements: Know how to swim. To be able to paddle.

 

Observations: The route is planned as a round trip. We have a support boat in case of any problem to return.

 

Meeting point: Box Marae - Paseo Andres Segovia, 44 - La Herradura - Granada

 

Departure point: Canal nautico in front of the facilities.

 

The RECOMMENDED minimum age of a child accompanied by his/her parents is 5 years old, sharing the same kayak.
